Browns RB Ben Tate meets 44 Cleveland fans at a McDonald's (Video)

After beginning his first few seasons in the NFL with the Houston Texans, running back Ben Tate signed with the Cleveland Browns over the offseason and now has a new home that he has to get used to. Also, he has a new fan base that he needs to get acquainted with, probably one of the more rabid bunches in the entire league. No disrespect to Texans fans, but they’re no “Dawg Pound.”

Luckily Tate is aware that he needs to get to know his new best friends in Cleveland and he did exactly that by recently meeting 44 (his jersey number) of them at a local McDonald’s.

Tate just spontaneously chose specifically 44 of the best fans that sent him a photo of their wanting to meet their new star, and those were definitely 44 lucky Browns fans.

Now he just needs to perform on the field like that $2.5 million guaranteed contract asks for.
