The Golden State Warriors had an elaborate protest planned for Game 5 of their Western Conference playoff series with the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center on Tuesday night, but after the NBA delivered a lifetime ban to Clippers owner Donald Sterling they chose to play the game as planned.

That didn’t stop other protest from taking place, however.

The Clippers cheerleaders decided to make a statement of their own to distance themselves from Sterling’s racist comments by wearing all black uniforms for the big game.

It is great to see everyone getting behind the Clippers, as the organization now looks to put the past behind them and charge forward towards their goal of bringing home an NBA title in 2014.
