The news on Tuesday of the NBA and commissioner Adam Silver placing a lifetime ban on Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling sent shockwaves throughout the entire league. For the most part, the response toward the decision was overwhelmingly positive, and we can certainly make that assumption given the number of people around not just the NBA, but around the entire athletic community that has weighed in already.
However no matter how many people voice their opinion, some just matter a little more than others, and that’s why it would be interesting to see how the unofficial spokesman of the league, Miami Heat star LeBron James, felt about it all, and not long after the announcement, he offered up his thoughts.

Again, this is not to discredit anyone else’s opinion or thoughts, it’s just the nature of the beast to look forward to the comments of some more than others, and LeBron is looked to as the leader of the league by default as the best basketball player in the world.
