NBA Playoffs 2014: Kevin Durant suggests Tony Allen in his head?

Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant may be tired of hearing about Tony Allen, but it sure sounds like the swingman is in his head.

When the first round playoff series between the Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies began, few gave Memphis much of a chance. But through four games, the series is tied 2-2 and much of the Grizzlies success can be attributed to the defensive end, lead by stopper Tony Allen.

Known for his tenacious style, Allen has often found himself guarding Durant who hinted he’s a little gun shy:

“I’m worrying about a guy coming from behind trying to block the shot,” Durant said. “I’ve just got to focus in on the rim and my shot. I can’t go out there and think too much, I have to let my instincts take over.”

Durant isn’t the first player that Allen has forced into struggles come postseason play.

The potential MVP candidate is currently shooting a less than impressive 39 percent through the series’ first four contests.
