NBA Playoffs: Paul George says he feels like a 'target' of Pacers struggles

The Indiana Pacers have been in a free fall since the early part of the NBA’s second half of the season, this after storming through during the first half.

The struggles have continued into the NBA’s postseason as the Pacers, despite being a number one seed, are facing elimination by the Atlanta Hawks.

One player who’s taken a heavy amount of blame for the poor play is Paul George, who says he’s feeling like a ‘target’ of the Pacers recent struggles:

Paul George recently told me that he’s felt like a “target.” It’s times like this when you see exactly what life is like as a rising star

George certainly hit a funk during the second half of the season though has been more than adequate during the first round of the NBA playoffs and certainly isn’t to blame for the Pacers poor play.

That said, as a star you not only get the glory when things go well but also the wrath when things begin to falter.
