New Trailer for Godzilla Reveals New Monsters (Video)

We have seen our fair share of Godzilla trailer over the last few months, but none of them have been quite as revealing as the one we laid our eyes on this morning. The good people over at Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have released a new trailer for the film that reveals some of the other monsters who the King of Monsters will be facing off with in the new Godzilla.

All of the previous trailers have done a good job of keeping major story lines under wraps, leaving us to believe that Godzilla was the only giant monster in this flick, but keeping with the Godzilla legend, we knew this couldn’t possibly be true.

In the new trailer, you get a look at what looks like two menacing monsters. In the quick glimpse of the beast that you get in the trailer, the flying menace looks like it could possibly be Rodan, although this is purely speculation at this point.

Towards the end of the trailer, Ichiro Serizawa, who is played in the film by Ken Watanabe, utters the words “Let them fight.” This means we may be in store for one of the most epic monster battles that we have ever seen.

This is one of those things you should probably see for yourself. So, what are you waiting for? Here is a look at the new trailer for the upcoming movie Godzilla.

The new film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen as Lieutenant Ford Brody and his wife Elle. The duo can also be seen soon as the brother/sister duo of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Godzilla also stars Breaking Bad star Bryan CranstonJuliette BinocheKen WantanabeFifty Shades of Grey’s Victor RasukHawaii Five-O actor Richard T. Jones, and many more.

Which monsters do you think Godzilla will be doing battle with in the new film? What kind of destruction do you think this battle will leave in its wake? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Godzilla is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and conventional theaters on May 16, 2014.
