The last we saw of Rick, Glenn, Darryl and much of The Walking Dead cast in the season four finale they were being ordered into train car A at Terminus after believing they would find salvation there, but little did they know, salvation would be the last thing they would find after spending the second half of the fourth season in search of a new home after the prison was destroyed by the Governor and company.
The fifth season is to begin filming soon and Norman Reedus who plays our favorite wielder of the crossbow, tells Entertainment Weekly this upcoming season is going to be completely insane.
“From what I know, it’s gonna be just completely insane,” he says. “I sort of knew I needed like a good month to rest to jump in. The storyline they’re throwing me is a thousand miles an hour.”
The second half of the fourth season was seen as relatively anticlimactic compared to season’s past so fans of the AMC series are undoubtedly hoping Reedus’ comments aren’t a hollow promise and the action and suspense that made the show such a smash hit in the first few seasons will return to the small screen.
