As it turns out, losing Game 4 to the Atlanta Hawks and falling into a 3-2 hole against the lowest playoff team in the entire postseason field wasn’t the worst thing that happened to Indiana Pacers All-Star forward Paul George on Monday night. According RTV6 in Indianapolis, the house belonging to George was robbed of $15,000 worth of jewelry and shoes during the Pacers-Hawks game.

Per RTV6:

"Police said there are no signs of forced entry at the home. George’s parents said they didn’t lock the door when they left the home earlier in the evening, because they didn’t have a key. The home’s alarm system was also not set, police said."

This isn’t the first time an NBA player’s house was robbed during a game and it may not be the last since it continues to happen. According to the report, among the items stolen were George’s platinum All Star ring hat was incrusted with diamonds, 15 watches, a pair of Air Jordan 4 “Toro” shoes — and a $20 bill, just for good measure.
