During today’s press conference from NBA commissioner Adam Silver where he announced the lifetime ban and $2.5 million fine that has been handed down to Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for his racist remarks, Silver continuously referred to the NBA Constitution and By-Laws that dictated the punishment the league handed down.

Before today, the constitution was not accessible to the general public, but with the Sterling growing to be such a popular topic in the sports world the NBA has released the rules online for anyone to lay their eyes on. It comes in the form of a 92-page document detailing “Termination of Ownership or Membership”, “Misconduct of Persons other than Players ” and much more.
