The most successful sting of the 2013 season for the Cleveland Browns came under the leadership of quarterback Brian Hoyer. His season ended early after a brief stint because of an ACL injury that required surgery. But there is a new regime leading the Browns team and organization, and there is no guarantee that he’ll be the starting quarterback. The Browns could even draft the quarterback of the future with their first round pick.
Hoyer is approaching the season as if he is the starter though.
“Until someone tells me otherwise,” Hoyer said, via Pat McManamon of ESPN.com, “I feel like I’m the starter for this team.”
Tight end Jordan Cameron called Hoyer assertive.
“Assertive is a good way to describe him,” Cameron said.
