The Los Angeles Clippers have a new slogan for at least the rest of their playoff season, “We Are One.” It is a response to Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s alleged racist remarks caught on tape, though it wasn’t rolled out till last night when the Clippers hosted their first home game since the tape was released.
They put in their website and they put it on the padding behind the basket, and the fans broke out in chant during the fourth quarter. It wasn’t quite as spontaneous as maybe you expected, you can hear the PA announcer encouraging them and leading them. But still it was a pretty cool moment and you can watch it below.
