The UFC has been making a flurry of announcements surrounding their UFC Fight Night event in Dublin, Ireland, and as expected one of the promotion’s biggest Irish stars will be gracing the card on July 19 at The O2.
The UFC officially announced that a featherweight match up between Conor McGregor and Cole Miller has been added to the event, and it is very likely that it will serve as the main event of the evening.
Here are the other bouts currently announced for the card:
- Ryan LaFlare vs. Gunnar Nelson
- Ian McCall vs. Brad Pickett
- Ilir Latifi vs. Tom Lawlor
- Phil Harris vs. Neil Seery
- Cody Donovan vs. Nikita Krylov
McGregor and Miller have publicly feuded for months, with Miller even directing a post-fight call out in the Irishman’s direction following a win at UFC Fight Night 30 in Manchester late last year.
“I don’t know what’s going in with these judges in mixed martial arts, ruining my last fight,” Miller said. “I don’t know what’s up with these European fighters, either. Ross Pearson couldn’t be beat. Andy Ogle couldn’t be beat. Dennis Siver can’t be beat. And you know what? Neither can ‘Colin McGoober,’ so bring it.”
The two men will finally have the opportunity to square off and we can see who comes out on top once and for all.
