Fight breaks out at Flyers vs. Rangers game

During last night’s Game 6 between the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers, a fight broke out in the stands between fans of the two teams because it’s the cup, right?

The fight occurred in the upper level of the Wells Fargo Center as the Flyers were closing in on a 5-2 victory to force a Game 7 on Wednesday night. According to a reader submission on Deadspin, an inebriated Rangers fan resisted removal by security, and struck a Flyers fan. That’s where the video then begins.

There were no reports that an serious injuries came from the fight. But that’s not the most pressing issue of them all. The big problem is, when will people stop holding the phone upright to take videos? I mean, come on!

Again, because it’s the cup.

[Warning: the video has some NSFW language and content]
