Jameis Winston fined, suspended after crab leg incident

On Wednesday morning, Florida State Seminoles star quarterback Jameis Winston found himself in trouble after an incident outside of a Publix where he was allegedly attempting to steal some crab legs. Seriously.

While Winston was given a citation for the incident, he has still been subject to punishment from the university.

According to Tomahawk Nation, Winston has been fined $30, forced into community service and will be suspended from the baseball team.

The good news for everyone is that he will not be punished and forced to miss any football related activities at this time. Still, he should have been much smarter and should never get in these situations especially after such a serious scandal just one year ago.

It’s a good thing the NCAA has approved unlimited meals and snacks for student-athletes so that we can avoid something like this in the future … we hope.
