UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been demanding headlines ever since his dominant title defense over Glover Teixeira this past Saturday night at UFC 172.
Jones initially took to Instagram to troll both Phil Davis and Chuck Liddell. This was in response to the pre-fight trash talking by both men. Liddell made outrageous statements that he would like to fight Jones among other things while Davis was chastising Jones throughout fight week, seemingly in hopes of getting a fight against the champ. Unfortunately for Davis, he lost to the returning Anthony Johnson and was ridiculed by Jones afterwards.
Today, Jon Jones has his eyes set on the fans that are criticizing him for his continued eye pokes. Check out the video below:
Jon Jones can say all he wants about the eye pokes, but the fact is that he continually uses his open hand to paw at his opponents to keep them off guard. When he does this, it is common for one of his fingers to slip into the eye of his opponent. It has happened in nearly every Jones’ fight, and he has never been deducted a point for it.
