Rays vs. Red Sox also postponed

On top of the three games already announced as postponed, the Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox will have to wait another day to play.

Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reported it first, and it slowly got around to other beat writers, that the game at Fenway Park will have to be postponed. The Red Sox have issued a statement saying that the two teams will play a split-doubleheader on Thursday. Most of the Tampa Bay beat writers were saying that the Rays would have preferred to play just one game and make up the other on a different day, but Topkin Tweeted this out.

The first game will start at 1:05 PM EST with the second game coming at 7:05. Boston has announced that Jake Peavy will start the first game and Felix Doubront will be on the hill for the nightcap. The Rays will start with Cesar Ramos and Chris Archer for the night game.
