LSU Tigers wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the fastest rising players in the 2014 NFL Draft class, and it appears that he could be coming off of the board between the No. 11 and No. 17 overall picks.
Of course, there is no certainty for where Beckham will be drafted, but if the NFL player comparisons he has received are any indication he is very deserving of a high first-round pick.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Beckham compares to former Indianapolis Colts great Marvin Harrison and current Minnesota Vikings/former Green Bay Packers wideout Greg Jennings.
“No holes that I can see,” one scout told the paper. “I think he will be great.”
We will find out in exactly one week where Beckham will begin his professional career and whether or not he can be the second wide receiver off of the board after Clemson’s Sammy Watkins.
