Kansas Jayhawks point guard Naadir Tharpe will transfer from the Kansas Jayhawks heading into his senior season, according to a report from Jeff Goodman and ESPN.
Kansas point guard Naadir Tharpe is expected to transfer, sources told ESPN.

On a team that feature freshman stars last season such as Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid, Tharpe played in 34 games for head coach Bill Self and the Jayhawks, averaging 8.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and five assists per game. The Jayhawks made a run into the NCAA Tournament, but were unfortunately knocked out in their second game by the Stanford Cardinal.
Although, unfortunately, Tharpe’s highlight of his 2013-14 season came when he was in the doghouse with Self and the rest of the team for a photo that he posted surfaced online of him with a female who was more or less in the nude.
At this point, it’s not known whether or not there is a front runner for whom could land Tharpe’s services this season, as this announcement itself may have come as a shock to some.
