I think it is safe to say that Star Wars: Episode VII is probably one of the most anticipated films of 2015. For months on end, fans everywhere were trying to gather as much information as possible about who would be in the film, when the story would take place, and any other information that they could get their hands on.
On Tuesday, the people at Walt Disney and Lucasfilm officially announced the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. As you probably already know, all of your favorites like Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and even Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill would be returning to the franchise to reprise their roles in the iconic saga.
Joining the Star Wars originals, which also includes Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker, will be Max von Sydow, Domhall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, and Andy Serkis.
There is certainly no lack of talent in the list of actors joining the franchise; however, the question still remained if they could hold up to the incredibly high standard that a film like Star Wars demands?
After the cast’s first official table read in London, Mark Hamill took to his Twitter page to express his excitement and gave a nod to his co-stars.
UK table read- I was knocked out by the diverse & extraordinarily talented new cast members. WOW they’re good! The saga is in superb hands.

After taking a look at the tweet from Mark Hamill, who is definitely in a good position to know the state of the saga, I think it is pretty safe to say that Star Wars fans are going to be in for a real treat when the film finally hits theaters in 2015.
