Since Billy Donovan arrived in Gainesville, the Florida Gators’ basketball program became a recruiting juggernaut.
Earlier this week, Donovan and the Gators only added to their reputation when 4-star shooting guard KeVaughn Allen gave his pledge to the Gators.
The 6’2, 165-pound Allen is from Little Rock, Arkansas and attends North Little Rock High School.
Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports was the first to report the news.

Allen is ranked as the 10th-best shooting guard prospect in the country, the top overall prospect in the state of Arkansas and the 59th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
He chose the Gators over offers from the Arizona Wildcats, hometown Arkansas Razorbacks, Baylor Bears and Connecticut Huskies, among many others.
Allen becomes the second member of the Gators’ 2015 recruiting class, joining 4-star center Kevarrius Hayes. The 6’9, 180-pound Hayes pledged to the Gators just less than a year ago.
