Head coach Charlie Weis and the Kansas Jayhawks believe they found their quarterback of the future in 3-star signal-caller Ryan Willis.
Willis gave his pledge to the Jayhawks via twitter on Friday.

The 6’4, 195-pounder is from Mission, Kansas and attends Bishop Miege High School.
“I have been thinking about it over the last two weeks,” Willis told Jon Kirby of Rivals.com. “KU is the school that felt the best for me. It is the place that I felt most at home. It is a great feeling.”
Willis visited Kansas back on February 22 just a few days after picking up an offer from the Jayhawks and has since checked out the rival Kansas State Wildcats. He is ranked as the 27th-best pro style quarterback in the country, the fourth-best overall prospect in the state of Kansas and the 599th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Willis also held offers from the Wildcats, Illinois Fighting Illini and Tulsa Golden Hurricane, among others.
