Kentucky Oaks 2014: Grey Goose Oaks Lilly recipe

If you are a fan of horse racing, tomorrow kicks off the most important weeks of the racing season with the 140th running of the Kentucky Oaks. While Untapable will be out on the track at Churchill Downs looking to live up to expectations, fans in the stands will be loading up on their drinks in the official Kentucky Oaks glasses. There is a good chance that the Grey Goose Oaks Lilly will be filling a number of the cups.

The Grey Goose Oaks Lilly is the official drink of the Kentucky Oaks, and it certainly lives up to expectations.

It is a sweet drink with cranberry juice, sweet and sour mix and triple sec, with premium vodka giving the extra kick that everyone in the stands will be looking to have.

Below is the recipe for the official drink of the Kentucky Oaks:

  • 1 oz. GREY GOOSE® Vodka 
  • 1 oz. Sweet and Sour Mix
  • 3 oz. Cranberry Juice
  • Splash of Triple Sec 

Once the ingredients are mixed, place the Grey Goose® Oaks Lily® in a tall glass with crushed ice, add a straw and garnish with an orange wedge and cherry.
