Thursday night the Indiana Pacers took to the court against the Atlanta Hawks with their backs to the wall down three games to two and needing a win in Game 6 to avoid a humiliating early elimination. When it was all said and done, they did avoid that early exit from the playoffs, at least for one more game, with a 95-88 victory, and there were a lot of folks who were watching on television as they fought back for the win.
In actuality, it ended up being the most watched game in the history of NBA TV.
Pacers-Hawks Game 6 is now @NBATV‘s most-viewed telecast in the network’s history, averaging 1.071M total viewers.

This shouldn’t be all that shocking given the fact that there is a lot of intrigue surrounding the possibility of a number one seed being shown the door in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
But, they’re not completely out of the clear just yet as they have one more game to win on Saturday night in Game 7 at home in Indianapolis.
