NBA Playoffs 2014, Warriors at Clippers Game 7: Jermaine O’Neal questionable with bone bruise

Although the Golden State Warriors held off the Los Angeles Clippers for a 100-99 victory on Thursday night to force Saturday night’s Game 7, they lost veteran big man Jermaine O’Neal in the second quarter to a knee injury.

According to Diamond Leung of Inside Bay Area, O’Neal’s official injury is a bone bruise in his right kneecap and he is officially listed as questionable for Game 7.

The Warriors are already without starting center Andrew Bogut so this could be a huge loss with DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin roaming the middle.

O’Neal averaged 7.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game during the season and is averaging 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game during the postseason.

Game 7 will tip-off at 10:30 pm EST and the game is on TNT.
