The Orlando Magic are in a position to grab a top lottery pick this summer, if not the No. 1 pick overall, but that doesn’t mean wholesale changes are in store. While the Magic were an awful mess in 2013-14, the team will be bringing back head coach Jacque Vaughn and general manager Rob Hennigan for not just next season but the 2015-16 season as well.
According to beat writer Josh Robbins, the Magic have exercised the 2015-16 options on Vaughn and Hennigan so that the rebuilding process runs uninterrupted.
The Magic have exercised their 4th-year option on the contracts of GM RHennigan and coach JVaughn for the 2015-16 season.

It’s a smart move to bring both men back for the next two seasons as the last thing the Magic need is to restart the rebuilding process before the first cycle can be complete. With a top prospect coming in to be added to the already young roster, the future is bright for Orlando and both Vaughn and Hennigan will be around to see it.
