The Minnesota Timberwolves need to find a head coach and the market for a guy who wants to come coach a team that will lose its superstar forward next summer isn’t very deep. But it hasn’t scared off ESPN analyst and former Coach of the Year George Karl who has expressed an interest in the Wolves job.
As for the Wolves, despite the need for a head coach it doesn’t look like Karl will be getting a call anytime soon.

This is too bad for the Wolves as Karl wouldn’t be the worst option and if you hadn’t noticed, no one is kicking down the door in Minnesota demanding the job. Lionel Hollins is on their radar along with Tom Izzo but it appears the Wolves have grander visions that are unlikely to come true given their current situation.
