The 6’3, 250-pounder is from Cincinnati, Ohio and attends LaSalle High School.

BREAKING: La Salle 2015 DT Jordan Thompson verbally committed to #Northwestern
— Mike Dyer (@MikeDyer) May 2, 2014
Thompson is ranked as the country’s 42nd-best defensive tackle prospect, the 33rd-best overall prospect in the state of Ohio and the 747th-best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Thompson visited Northwestern earlier in April and enjoyed himself, but after picking up an offer from the Notre Dame Irish last week, many thought South Bend would be his destination. Instead, Thompson chose the Wildcats over offers from the Irish, Boston College Eagles, Cincinnati Bearcats and Boston College Eagles, among others.
