Saturday afternoon the spring games around the country in major college football will wrap up and one of the teams taking the field is the national championship contender Oregon Ducks.
Last season it seemed as if new head coach Mark Helfrich and the Ducks were destined to play for the national title until their hopes were derailed with a loss to Stanford. Then, later on in the year, they were trounced by the Arizona Wildcats, officially taking them out of the hunt for the title.
Still though, they ended the season on a high note with a convincing win over Texas in the bowl game and they return one of the more dynamic players in the nation in quarterback Marcus Mariota.
