The Toronto Raptors came so close to winning Game 7 against the Brooklyn Nets. The Raptors were trailing by one and Nets had the ball, looking to inbounds, with 8.8 seconds remaining.
The ball came in towards Nets’ Paul Pierce, but Terrence Ross tipped the pass and managed to collect it as he headed out-of-bounds. He threw the ball of of Pierce to keep possession and give the Raptors a chance to win. They advanced the ball on a time out as well.
Kyle Lowry got ahold of the ball in the final seconds and tried to make his way into the paint. Lowry tried desperately to get around the Nets defense and into the paint. Eventually he did, but wasn’t in the best control of his situation and went for a floater, only to be denied by Pierce.
