When the Cleveland Cavaliers fired Chris Grant as their general manager back in the middle of the season, it was unclear where they’d go next in the front office. At the moment, David Griffin is settling into the job but there’s a question of whether or not he’s the long term option or if the Cavs will make an outside.
At the moment, Dan Gilbert is undecided on what to do as Sam Amico from Fox Sports Ohio reports the Cavs owner is going to take a wait and see approach to the general manager situation.

There aren’t many option on the open market for a general manager and Griffin hasn’t really been given an opportunity to prove himself in the role. Still, the Cavs has wasted away too many years with Chris Grant’s decisions and whatever happens now needs to produce immediate results.
