The biggest story of the past week was the alleged racist remarks made by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. The comments distracted the team and caught the attention of the nation as a passionate debate and outrage ensued.
Eventually NBA commissioner Adam Silver addressed the issue announcing that he had banned Sterling for life, fined him the maximum allowable which was $2.5 million. Silver also was going to do what he could to force a sale of the Clippers.
So this weekend Saturday Night Live took the Sterling controversy and turned it into a skit. The cast member playing Adam Silver says he has enjoyed the week, saying “I have gotten more high-fives from black people this week than any week in my life.”
Check it out below and watch Jay Pharoah play Dennis Rodman, who tries to defend Sterling.
