This wasn’t an ordinary playoff series for the Los Angeles Clippers. In addition to having to play a tough Golden State Warriors team, the Clippers had to deal with unprecedented off-court distractions coming from the racist remarks owner Donald Sterling was caught on tape making.
Still, they overcame adversity and managed to get a Game 7 win to advance to the second round of the playoffs.
“This was a hard week,” Clippers coach Doc Rivers said after the game. “Was it a week? It feels like two months. I needed to be able to smile and laugh and cheer and be proud of something.”
NBA cameras let you inside the Clippers locker room after the game as Rivers addressed the team.
