WWE Extreme Rules 2014 Results: The Shield defeat Evolution in epic match, instant classic (GIFs)

At WWE Extreme Rules, The Shield took on Evolution and the fight started off with an all out brawl. The Shield cleared the ring quickly and controlled the ring. While The Shield was talking to the ref, Triple H slid in and Seth Rollins went at him and the match finally began. Rollins controlled HHH early on, and eventually knocked HHH over the top rope. Rollins flew through the ropes at HHH knocking him back down into the barricade.
Orton tried to jump Rollins, but Rollins connected first. As Rollins got into the ring, HHH was able to knock Rollins to the ground and re-gain control. HHH tagged in Batista and went to work on Rollins in their corner. Batista then tagged in Orton.
Orton was stomping on Rollins laying under the rope on the apron. Orton tagged in HHH who picked up where Orton left off. HHH went for a pin but Rollins kicked out, and HHH tagged in Batista.
Batista worked on Rollins on the edge of the ring, and kicked him in the head. Orton slammed Rollins on the top rope and went for a pin but Rollins kicked out again. Rollins almost got to the corner and the Evolution ran across and knocked The Shied off the edge.
Rollins did an awesome reverse to kick Orton, and made it to the ring and he tagged in Dean Ambrose. Ambrose drop kicked Orton into his partners knocking them off the ring. Batista got back up and Ambrose knocked Batista off the edge again.
Ambrose locked in the figure four, and Evolution was in the ring helping Orton. Roman Reigns came in and cleared the ring taking out Batista. He tried to spear HHH, but he moved out of the way and Reigns went into the steel steps.
HHH tagged in and went to work on Ambrose, and then quickly tagged in Batista after a few punches. Evolution kept Ambrose isolated and continued to work on him, taking turns and tagging in and out.
Batista locked in a rear naked choke as the crowd chanted “you can’t wrestle.” Which is funny as Batista wears the Gracie Jiu Jitsu logo.
Batista tagged in HHH, who took his time and stared down The Shield and laughed at them before going for a pedigree on Ambrose, who countered. Ambrose landed a DDT, and they both laid in the middle of the ring fighting to get to the corner.
Finally Roman Reigns gets tagged in and goes against Batista. Orton came in temporarily but Reigns took care of him. Reigns was all over the place taking out all of Evolution inside and outside of the ring. When he got back in the ring, Batista almost got Reigns in a Batista bomb, but Rollins jumped over the top rope and broke it up, then Reigns hit the superman punch.
The Shield then delivered the Triple power bomb, and Reigns went for the cover but Orton and HHH dragged Reigns out of the ring. Ambrose came and worked on Orton, and Rollins went after HHH through the ropes, but HHH moved out of the way. HHH got in the ring and landed a pedigree and tried to set up Batista to get the win. Ambrose attacked HHH and Reigns kicked out.
Orton stalked Reigns as he got to his feet and hit him with an RKO and Batista went for the pin but didn’t get it. The fight was still going on outside between Rollins and Orton along the barricade. Ambrose ran across both announce tables and took out Orton and HHH as they beat on Rollins.
Ambrose and Rollins were fighting HHH and Orton in the aisles in the crowd. Even making their way off the floor into the actual stands. Ambrose and Rollins had the upper hand as they moved up the lower bowl while Reigns and Batista still laid in the ring. As they made there way up the lower bowl, Orton threw Ambrose down a flight of stairs onto the concrete floor. They then threw Ambrose into a concrete wall and off metal barricades, Rollins was MIA during this, they’re in front of a tunnel.
Rollins jumped off the stands above the tunnel onto Orton, HHH and Ambrose too.

Back in the ring, Batista landed a spine buster on Reigns. Batista went for a bomb, but Reigns countered and landed the superman punch. Reigns then landed a spear, pinned Batista and won the match for The Shield.
