Why is Dallas behind Portland? Yes, they lost their game this week, but they were down a man for 80 minutes, and they still controlled the game. Tierry Henry even said that the Red Bulls didn’t deserve to win the match. Also keep in mind that they were without Mauro Diaz, Michel, Zach Lloyd, and George John. This FC Dallas side is better and have more depth than they have been in years. Meanwhile, Portland FINALLY won a match after 8 weeks of sub-par play. And you have the Revs at the #2 spot. That’s another one I don’t get. They aren’t even first in their conference, and the Eastern Conference is weaker than the Western Conference. The Revs have been spotty all season. All I can figure is that this list was compiled based on the scores of this week only, and not based on the entire season.
