Destiny will be released later on this year, and it’s definitely one of the most anticipated games that will come out.

There’s a developer diary on the PlayStation Blog that has two people from Bungie talking about the game, and also what gamers can expect from Destiny.

Lars Bakken who is the lead designer for the game and community manager David Dague in the video talk about weapons and armor in Destiny.

It was mentioned that by defeating enemies and completing missions will allow players to upgrade their guardians in every conceivable way. They talked about for example, how a level five player will have significantly different armor than some someone at level 23.

The higher level players will have armor that sets them them apart from the rest of the pack. David said the armor is hand-crafted to look amazing and create jealousy.

The way loot works in the game is that it’s a private loot stream. When you kill an enemy in the game, he will drop ammunition and loot for your character.

To give people a chance to have success in Destiny, there’s a three-weapon system. First, we have primary weapons (rifles and hand cannons), special weapons (shotguns, sniper rifles and fusion rifles) and heavy weapons (rocket launchers and belt-fed machineguns).

The best part is once you form a relationship with your favorite weapon, it can be used by any character you create in Destiny.

A very cool aspect of the game is that each weapon has been hand-made by the artists at Bungie.

Bungie is doing a terrific job in making Destiny unique and it should be great once it releases. Destiny launches for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 9.
