Dodgers' Yasiel Puig day-to-day, no concussion

It would have been a tremendous grab, had it been made. If the catch gets made, the game goes on and the Marlins don’t celebrate a walk-off double by Jeff Baker. The catch didn’t get made.

What could be even worse for Dodger fans is that the condition of their superstar right fielder, Yasiel Puig is up in the air. Alanna Rizzo of LA SportsNet says that a concussion test for Puig came back negative, but that he is day-to-day. Puig was trying to be a hero again as he leaped to try and catch a ball drilled by Baker. Always one to play all out and full on, Puig crashed into the right field fence, hitting his head and leg on the chain link and padding.

Trainers came out to look at Puig and helped him off of the field, but he was walking, albeit a bit dazed. If you missed the play, it’s here below:
