The NHL on NBC presentation will bring a fresh look to a series looking for a change

NHL 15 to feature NBCSN broadcast

Alongside the trailer release and cover vote announcement, EA Sports released details regarding a number of new features coming in NHL 15.

One of the new major new features announced is the integration of NBCSN into the game’s broadcast presentation. From the intro music you hear on game night to graphics you see on the screen, NHL 15 will fully feature the league’s broadcast partner. Even the top announcers of the network have come along for the ride.

That’s right, Mike “Doc” Emrick and Eddie Olczyk are taking over the play-by-play duties from Gary Thorne and Bill Clement. TSN analyst Ray Ferraro will also be a part of the broadcast team, delivering commentary from “inside the glass”.

From EA Sports:

Combined with Real Life Broadcast Integration that will feature real-world pre-game video commentary with Doc and Eddie set against in-game visuals, NHL 15 takes a revolutionary step forward in sports videogames; where the lines between the real world of sport broadcast and the game are blurred.

NHL 15 releases this fall on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
