Sidney Crosby finally put one in the back of the net after the NHL’s leading point scorer, and likely Hart Trophy winner, was kept off the goal sheet for the first eight games of the postseason, but the Pittsburgh Penguins captain gave his team a 1-0 lead in the second period on this breakaway.

The goal came at the 2:34 mark of the second period with Robert Bortuzzo assisting on the goal.

You can watch Crosby and the rest of the Penguins against the New York Rangers on the NBC Sports Network.

The Penguins and Rangers are tied at one game apiece in their best of seven series.
