Are the Miami Heat going to buck the results of the 2013-2014 regular season in their second round playoff series? Will their talent rule the day, or do the Brooklyn Nets truly hold some advantage that will come into play?
The answers to those questions remain to be seen, but if LeBron James got enough rest during the first round to take over games then the odds are pretty good that the Heat will come out on top. James showed some the ridiculous athleticism he is capable of with this finish in traffic during game one Tuesday night.
Game one headed to halftime as a relatively low-scoring affair in the slug-it-out fashion that might benefit the Nets. There is plenty of time left in the series to see which team will be able to set the tone for style of play, but the more the Heat are forced to play Brooklyn’s pace, the more they will have their work cut out for them in round two.
