It seems that whenever the Miami Heat and the remnants of the old Boston Celtics team get together, things get physical. While the rivalry with the Celtics is no more, the Heat watched Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce carry their blood lust from Boston to Brooklyn as a different uniform harbors the same animosity that existed in Boston.
The teams are mature, so the physicality is all done either legally or sneakily and Garnett took an opportunity to demonstrate the latter on a rebound against LeBron James.
The smack to LeBron’s face was no Josh McRoberts throat punch but it’s still something that didn’t look like it felt good nor was it unintentional. Still, that’s what we love about this series so far and things are only getting started.
