Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Evans is one of the big bodied pass catchers that NFL teams drool over and his physical talent has led to him flying up draft boards as the 2014 NFL Draft, which kicks off Thursday night, approaches.
According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, Evans is flying up team’s draft boards and he could land in the top five overall picks before everything is all said and done.
Dane Brugler of CBS Sports echoed Glazers’s comments on FOX Sports Radio by saying there is a “real chance” the Cleveland Browns will be pulling the trigger on Evans with the No. 4 overall pick to pair him with Josh Gordon.
The Buffalo Bills, who have been looking to trade up in the first round, could also be an option for Evans.
It will be interesting to see where Evans eventually lands, but we won’t have to wait much longer with the first-round set to take place in just two days.
