The Oakland Raiders and what direction they want to go in with the fifth overall pick is one of the biggest question marks entering the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft Thursday night.

Although they acquired Matt Schaub from the Houston Texans, Schaub struggled badly last season and the Raiders could really use another quarterback to either develop behind Schaub for a year or two or even start at some time this season.

However, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, who joined J.T. The Brick on Fox Sports Radio Tuesday, the Raiders aren’t all that interested in a quarterback at 5 and will not be targeting former Texas A&M Aggies’ quarterback Johnny Manziel.

Instead, the Raiders are looking at Manziel’s former Texas A&M teammate, wide receiver Mike Evans and former Clemson Tigers’ wide receiver Sammy Watkins.

Watkins will likely be off the board by the time the Raiders’ pick rolls around. The Jacksonville Jaguars appear interested and both the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions would like to trade up for Watkins.

Evans is more likely to be available and could wind up being the pick for the Raiders.
