Tomas Plekanec gives Candiens early lead in Game 3 (GIF)

The Montreal Candiens and Boston Bruins are facing off in a pivotal Game 3 of their Eastern Conference semifinals match up, and the Candiens were able to get on the board first thanks to the stick of center Tomas Plekanec.

Plekanec netted the goal past Bruins netminder Tuukka Rask just shy of the 11 minute mark in the first period with assists by Thomas Vanek and P.K. Subban to give Montreal an early 1-0 lead.
