The USC Trojans added their fifth commitment for the 2015 class after three-star offensive tackle Roy Hemsley (Los Angeles, Calif. Windward School) announced his commitment on Tuesday afternoon.
Hemsley is the No. 329 player overall in the 247Sports Composite Rankings and the No. 36 offensive tackle and No. 42 player in the state of California.
The 6-6, 280-pound Hemsely took a visit to USC on April 21st, he also visited the UCLA Bruins on that same day, and had offers from several Pac-12 schools, including the rival Bruins, California, Arizona State, Washington, Washington State, Colorado and Utah. He had been a frequent visitor to USC after visiting three times last season and in February for the Trojans’ junior day when he landed the offer from the USC coaches.
Tee Martin served as his primary recruiter. He is the second offensive line recruit after five-star offensive tackle Chuma Edoga (Powder Springs, Ga. McEachern) committed in late April.
USC currently owns the No. 31 class in the nation and the No. 2 class in the Pac-12 following Hemsely’s commitment.
