USMNT GK Tim Howard in newest 'ink not mink' ad for PETA

Everton and United States men’s national team goalkeeper Tim Howard is the latest athlete to join PETA’s “Ink Not Mink” campaign. Howard sat down for an exclusive video interview with PETA (available here) and discussed why this cause was particularly important.

“Protecting animals is very important to me, and I think speaking out against fur is an amazing cause,” Howard said. “When I see someone wearing fur, I just want to sit them down in front of one of PETA’s videos and show them just how badly animals suffer for this supposed fabric that no one needs.”

It might come as a surprise to some that Howard is so incredibly tatted up, when he plays you can’t ever see his tattoos hiding under his uniform. Here is a look at the ad;
