The Auburn Tigers are recruiting at an extremely high level in the class of 2015.
After finishing 12-2, winning the SEC Championship, coming within 13 seconds of winning the BCS National Championship and beating their arch rival, the two-time defending National Champion (at the time) Alabama Crimson Tide in head coach Gus Malzahn’s first year, that isn’t much of a surprise.
On Wednesday, they added to their class when 4-star outside linebacker Darrell Williams committed to the Tigers.

The 6’3, 226-pound Williams is from Birmingham, Alabama and attends one of the most prestigious high school programs in the country, Hoover High School.
Williams is ranked as the country’s 16th-best outside linebacker prospect, the sixth-best overall prospect in the state of Alabama and the 214th-overall best prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Williams chose the Tigers over a slew of big-time offers, including the Crimson Tide, the defending National Champion Florida State Seminoles, Mississippi State Bulldogs and Tennessee Volunteers, among many others.
He is the 13th verbal commitment for the Tigers in the class of 2015.
