Brazil announces World Cup roster

The World Cup is next month and teams around the world will begin announcing their rosters. The host nation, Brazil, and one of the favorites to win the whole tournament has announced their roster.

It includes notable names like Barcelona’s Neymar and Zenit’s Hulk. One of the biggest surprises might be that AC Milan midfielder Kaka, a former FIFA Player of the Year, was left off the roster. Technically Brazilian manager Luiz Felipe Scolari could change his roster before June 2nd.

GOALKEEPERS: Julio Cesar (Toronto FC), Jefferson (Botafogo), Victor (Atlético Mineiro)

DEFENDERS: Dani Alves (Barcelona), Maicon (Roma), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Maxwell (PSG), Thiago Silva (PSG), David Luiz (Chelsea), Dante (Bayern Munich), Henrique (Napoli)

MIDFIELDERS: Luiz Gustavo (Wolfsburg), Hernanes (Inter Milan), Paulinho (Tottenham), Ramires (Chelsea), Oscar (Chelsea), Fernandinho (Manchester City), Willian (Chelsea)
