NFL Draft Rumors: Dolphins GM wants to trade down from 19

Before the NFL Draft there are always numerous reports that teams are looking to trade down and back, most of them don’t actually happen. Now we have a new report from Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, that claims says Miami Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey is interested in trading down from the No. 19 overall selection.

From the Miami Herald:

Sources around the NFL are saying, insisting actually, that Hickey wants to trade out of the Dolphins’ No. 19 overall selection in the first round. That makes sense because the players the Dolphins covet either are not going to be available more than midway through the round or aren’t a value pick that early.

It confirms a report earlier in the month by Gil Brandt of NFL.com, so there seems to be some legs to this story.
