2014 NFL Draft: Jaguars have ‘definite’ interest in Johnny Manziel
By Josh Sanchez
The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and there are a number of different ways that they could go with their first-round pick. Assuming the Jaguars stay put, they could address a number of gigantic holes on their roster with some of the draft’s top talent.
It was previously reported that Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins and Buffalo pass rusher Khalil Mack are definitely “in the mix,” but the team could also look for a quarterback.
If quarterback is the direction the Jaguars go, none other than Johnny Manziel would be the most likely selection.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on a SportsCenter special previewing the draft, “”No question the Jaguars are absolutely intrigued with Manziel and will consider him at No. 3. Definite level of interest.”
Whether or not Manziel ends up being the selection remains to be seen, but our answer will be coming in a few hours.
