While they didn’t make the playoffs, head coach Rex Ryan worked a near miracle with the New York Jets last season and at the very least had them competitive with the roster he had at his disposal. Now with the 2014 season right around the corner, Ryan and Jets management is looking to turn the organization back into a legitimate Super Bowl contender like they once were.

In the free agency period, the team made some moves to go in that direction with the signings of veteran quarterback Michael Vick and wide receiver Eric Decker.

On Thursday night, though, the focus will be entirely on finding some pieces for this team in the first round of the NFL Draft, where the Jets hold the 18th overall pick.

Now it’s been no secret in the past few months that the team is eyeing up another wide receiver threat to insert into the growing offense, and there is the possibility that the team could be looking to get up much higher on the board to find the perfect fit.

Here’s a look at two players the Jets should be considering trading up for on Thursday night.
